Saluting Steve Reeves

and a Valley Center Connection.

International movie star, world-class bodybuilder and longtime Valley Center rancher Steve Reeves will be remembered in an exhibit running July 1 to December 30, 2008.  He appeared in dozens of movies, but is best known as the star of "Hercules".  Others remember him as Mr. America, Mr. World and Mr. Universe.  But, for more than 40 years, he was a rancher in Valley Center where he lived until his death in 2000.  Exhibit includes photos, movie memorabilia, and personal mementos.
